O texto que se segue é uma tradução bilíngue e espelhada de Esboços Pirrônicos I, 36-79.1, do médico e filósofo cético pirrônico Sexto Empírico (II-III d.C.) Os passos traduzidos dizem respeito ao primeiro tropo de Enesidemo, em que são comentadas e comparadas as idiossincrasias dos animais quanto aos seus órgãos dos sentidos, de modo a levar à conclusão de que não há critérios para preferir entre determinadas percepções em detrimento de outras, seguindo-se a suspensão de juízo.
